Connecting Lives, Building Faith, Releasing Destiny
Hello OLC Family! Welcome to another email update!

As always, if you missed our message from last week, you can head over to our YouTube page to watch it, or you can listen to it through many of the podcast services available. Our Sunday Livestream is also available through YouTube.

Announcements:

-It's Grad season! If you or your child is graduating from high school or any post-secondary course or institution, we would love to honor you! We'll be taking time to do this during the service on June 12th. If you want to be a part of this, please talk to Lainey, or email her at laineyd@onelifechurch.ca!

-Women's Connect is ending for the summer with a movie night this Thursday, May 26th at 7:00 pm!
For details, contact Bonny at 403-892-3654.

-Men's Connect is canceled this Saturday, May 28th.

-We're thrilled to be hosting a Youth Conference this weekend with special guests from YWAM, Medicine Hat! It's going to be an awesome time filled with fun as well as equipping our youth with tools and encouragement that they need to overcome fear and go deeper with God.
The dates and times are Friday, May 27th at 5:00 pm, and Saturday, May 28th at 9:30 am here at the Church. Supper and lunch will be provided!

-We're hosting another Pot Bless on June 12, following the service! Bring food to share, and join us for a great time of fellowship!

-The Lethbridge Pregnancy Care Centre's annual "Baby Bottle Campaign" is happening!
For a couple more weeks you still have a chance to support this much-needed ministry in our community by taking home a baby bottle from the Connect Hub, filling it with cash, coins, or cheques, then bringing it back to the Church by June 19th! There are also postcards with QR codes to scan for online giving, or you can simply give on their website HERE

Encouraging Thoughts:

Whenever our primary motive for doing something or being someone is to please man, we are stuck in a trap. No matter the outcome, we will never be satisfied, for our desire to be seen and loved cannot be fulfilled by other people or ourselves, and we will only go in circles when we try to find our security there! The only place we can find rest for our souls is when we look to our Father. Walking on the path He leads us on is the safest place we can be, and knowing that He sees our hearts and intentions releases the pressure of being "enough."
As you look to your Father and trust the words He has spoken over you, His child, you can live in peace, for you are enough.
