ENCOURAGING THOUGHTS
Do you ever find yourself struggling with what God's will is for you? Sometimes as Christians we think that hardships or struggles are a sign that we are outside of God's will, and we jump around in life looking for instant success and happiness that will prove to us that we are doing the right thing. However, this isn't how God's will works! The Bible speaks of the journey to spiritual maturity, and the importance of walking through the trials we face to get there. Instead of getting caught up in what we are doing, we should focus on persevering in our faith right where we are. So instead of constantly questioning God's will, let's focus on what God wants to do inside of each of us no matter where we are.
"Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing."
James 1:2-4 NASB
