Connecting Lives, Building Faith, Releasing Destiny
Hello OLC Family! Welcome back to another email update!

As always, if you missed our message from last week, you can head over to our website or YouTube page to watch it, or you can listen to it through many of the podcast services available. Our Sunday Livestream is also available through YouTube.

Announcements:

-Unfortunately, Seniors Breakfast is CANCELLED this Thursday due to repairs happening at the Nord-Bridge Seniors Centre.

-Pastor Wayne and Rose are back this week, but we're having one more guest speaker: Al Purvis!

-On July 31st we're having Church in the Park in Galt Gardens! This is a great opportunity to worship with the body of Christ in Lethbridge and minister to those in need in our city.

-Almost all of our Connect Groups are taking a break right now. Tuesday Men's Connect is ending for the summer with the last meeting happening July 12th, but the Saturday Men's Connect is still happening throughout the Summer! Corporate prayer on Tuesday evenings will pick back up in August, and everything else will be starting again in the Fall!

Encouraging Thoughts:
Our God supplies everything we need for us to be seed-sowers. Contrary to what we sometimes feel we are supposed to do, we cannot save anyone, or control their well-being! Just as we can plant a seed in the ground and water it, we are able and called to plant seeds of encouragement, blessing, and faith into the lives of others, but is always, only God who can cause growth! Let go of the burden of being "God" to people, and trust that the one who is will multiply the seeds that you sow as He promises He will. Give generously without worrying about the short-term results of the seeds you have planted. Give because your Heavenly father asks it of you, and wants to bless you for it, and leave the rest in His hands.

"This generous God who supplies abundant seed for the farmer, which becomes bread for our meals, is even more extravagant toward you. First he supplies every need, plus more. Then he multiplies the seed as you sow it, so that the harvest of your generosity will grow. You will be abundantly enriched in every way as you give generously on every occasion, for when we take your gifts to those in need, it causes many to give thanks to God.
