This is a weekend set aside to meet with Jesus for dealing with past hurts, hang-ups and struggles that we all face on a daily basis. We have seen many people set free from sinful strongholds and hurts in their lives through Christ's power, found in confession, forgiveness and inner healing! It is open for those 18 years and older. It is on October 15th and 16th. You can sign up at the table in the Connect Hub, or online by clicking here!

Things to think on:

I am pretty sure we have heard the verse that iron sharpens iron. In fact, it's an adage that is used quite frequently in today's world. The phrase sounds good and looks good on posters and coffee mugs, but what does it really mean? Ask any chef and they will tell you that an essential piece of their equipment is an item called a steel or honing rod. A small rod made of steel that a chef will swipe his knives up and down on to hone the blade. If you neglect your knives as a chef, they become dull and unusable. The same thing happens when we neglect each other. We need the constant interchange of ideas and opinions in order to sharpen each other. Sometimes you are the blade and sometimes you are the rod. These actions all hone our personalities and help us to grow in relationships with one another and help keep us sharp to what God is doing in our lives and in the lives of those around us.
