Making the Most of Your Time
With summer vacation just around the corner and holidays finally in sight, it can be easy to slow our spiritual lives to a coast during the summer months.

Now, of course, rest is vital and it's important to take time with family and friends to chill and refresh from our busy lives. Rest is good. Getting away is good. But it doesn't mean our relationship with Christ needs to take a back seat during this time.

The summer months are a great opportunity to spend a little more time with the Lord, fellowshipping with Him and seeking His heart.

While we are camping, we can also be in prayer. While we are relaxing, we can also be seeking Him. While we are laughing with friends and family, we can take those opportunities to draw near to Christ together - or to pray for those who are not yet believers.

Remember to check in every so often and connect with those who will encourage you and walk with you in your faith. Your church family, and those who mentor and lift you up spiritually.

Ephesians, chapter 5:15-16 gives us some wise advice: 

So, pay close attention to how you walk - not as unwise people, but as wise. Make the most of your time, because the days are evil. (ESV)

Let's make the most of our time this summer! Let's continue to grow in our relationship with Jesus and make the most of our time to reach out and connect others to the love of Christ.

Just a reminder that the church office will be closed on Tuesday, July 1st. Have a happy Canada Day! 

Evangelist, Tommie Zito will be coming to Lethbridge July 13 - 19! Come out and get filled up and fired up to reach the lost in your city, province, and nation with the transforming love and power of Christ! July 13th @ 7 PM & July 14th - 19th @ 10 AM & 7 PM. One Life Church.

 Unfortunately, we are canceling VBS this year. Instead, we will be planning some fun day camps and family events in August! More info will follow shortly.




Join us at the church on Friday, July 25th at 7:00 PM for a special worship night with Behold The King worship band! Admission is FREE!
