Connecting Lives, Building Faith, Releasing Destiny

It's Tuesday OLC! There is a lot going on over the next few weeks, so make sure you take a look below to see what's all going on! Looking into September, our calendar is starting to fill up, and the church building is filling up with the noise and voices of the many ministries that we have going on each week. You can pick up a September calendar when you are with us again this week Sunday. See you there!

Church Events:

- On Saturday August 28th at 10am we will be connecting with our Front Line Ministries (ushers, greeters, coffee connect and hosts). If you are a part of these ministries, we would love to have you come out, or if you would like to be a part of them, we would love to see you there!
- On Sunday, August 29, right after the morning service, we will be having a Vision Casting for OLC Kids. We want to encourage all volunteers and parents to come out and hear where OLC Kids is going. Lunch will be provided!

-If you are a volunteer at One Life Church or if you would like to volunteer, we have our Plan to Protect Training on Saturday September 11th at 10:00am. Make sure you mark this down on your calendar, as it is mandatory if you want to volunteer at OLC.
OLC Kids is growing, so we need helpers and volunteers to make sure that we are taking the best care of our kids that we can. If you can spare one Sunday a month to help talk to Pastor Mitchell.
- We will be starting up our Wednesday night ministries on Wednesday, September 22nd @ 7:00pm, beginning with our Introduction to OLC! So if you are new to our church, or if you haven't been to our introduction course before, we want to encourage you to come out and find out what we are all about!

Things to think on

Meetings, sports practises, events, lunches, work, cleaning and the list seems to go on and on some days. These are all things that we have to deal with on a daily or weekly basis, and they are all things that take time out of our day. In fact, most days these are what fills up our days and weeks. Have you noticed something missing from the previous list though? If you noticed, good for you! If you missed it, let me point it out to you. Where is God, prayer, or devotions on that list? Where does He fit into your busy schedule? Is He the last thing on your list? Does He fit somewhere in the middle maybe, or do you put Him and your relationship with Him first? So often we fill up our lives with what we think is important that we forget the most important thing in life. Building our relationship with our heavenly Father. He needs to be the first thing on your list and the last thing as well. He wants to be a part of your life. Make sure you don't miss making Him a part of your life as well.
