We are into a brand-new month, December is here and with it the beginning of the celebration of Christmas! This past Sunday Pastor Wayne gave us a message of hope, if you haven't had a chance to listen to it, you can find it on our website or on our YouTube page. It was such a powerful message and I encourage everyone to go and watch it.
Church Events:
Tomorrow night, December 2nd at 7 pm we will be hosting a ladies' night here at the church. Ladies come out for a night of worship, fellowship and an encouraging message.
We are in need of a couple more volunteers for our 2-5 classroom for OLC Kids, if you are interested in becoming a part of this fantastic team, please talk to Pastor Mitchell.
We will be having our candlelight service on Wednesday, December 23rd at 6:30 pm, a great tradition for our church family. Join us for communion, worship and reflection as to what this season is all about
Things to think on:
This last Sunday we talked about hope, it was a common theme through our Sunday service and through the message at youth as well. We are in a season of hope, we have hope because it is during this season that God fulfilled His promise. He gave us the gift of His son, and His son was the hope of the world. If you are feeling hopeless right now, ask God to be with you wherever you are, God is the God of hope, and He will give it if you ask for it.
