ENCOURAGING THOUGHTS

The Lord Is Good
We've been taught it since Sunday School, and we've seen it time and time again in scripture.  

The Lord is good.

We know these words are the truth. But sometimes, we need to be reminded of the power behind them. Yes, God is good. But is God just good out there? or is He also good in here as well? It's important to remind ourselves of how God has been good to us, personally, last week, last month, last year, and so on. The Israelites had many psalms dedicated to remembering how God led them and was good to them in the past so that they could trust Him with their future. (Psalm 78, 105-107, and 136, are some examples.)

Let's be stirred up to search our lives and God's word to remember the immense goodness of God towards us! Here are some from the scriptures:

Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good. His love endures forever. (Psalm 136:1)

For the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and His faithfulness to all generations. (Psalm 100:5)

Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in Him. (Psalm 34:8)

The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble. (Nahum 1:7)

THE LORD IS GOOD!

There will be a special message for the dads this Father's Day at One Life Church! Service starts at 10:25 AM.

Remember to bring your filled baby bottles back this Sunday (June 15th) to OLC. A huge thank you to everyone who participated to help raise funds for the Lethbridge Pregnancy Care Centre.

 If you have graduated from high school or post-secondary school this year, we want to celebrate you during the service on Sunday, June 22nd! Talk to Pastor Mitchell or Rachelle, and email us a photo along with where you are graduating from and what your plans are for the future!
