Connecting Lives, Building Lives, Releasing Destiny

Hello again OLC family! We are halfway through September already, time seems to be going by so fast. The leaves are already starting to change colour and to fall off of the trees, the hot days of summer seem to be slipping away and with those disappearing, the colder autumn nights are taking their place. It may be a time of change, but just remember that change can be a good thing!

As we meet together on Sunday's we ask that you be respectful and loving to one another when it comes to wearing or not wearing a mask. Colossians 3:14 says “But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection.”

Don't forget that if you missed any of our services you can always watch them online at www.onelifechurch.ca and just click on the Sermons tab. We also now have video messages up for your kids if they can't make it! You can go to the OLC Kids tab and find the video lesson and the PDF version of them as well as a craft! OLC Kids just started this last week and it was a major blessing to have the sounds of children's laughter fill the church again, it has been missed greatly, and we look forward to hearing it again next week when we meet.

Here are some events you might want to mark down on your calendar that are coming up:

  • Last week Wednesday we started our introduction to OLC, if you missed the first you can still come to the next one. It is every Wednesday at 7 pm here at the church. Come find out about our story and how you can connect and fit in!
  • There will be a men's night coming up on September 28th at 7 pm here at the church, (sorry ladies this is for men only) make sure you stay tuned for more information on this awesome event!
Change can be hard, and we tend to cling to what we know best. Routines are easy, habits are hard to break, but if we are willing to change things that God wants us to change He can release amazing things into your life! Our church family has been a testimony to these things. A lot has changed over the past few years but God has walked with us through it all, and has blessed us because we have been willing to change and go with His will! Life may change, and our daily routines may shift but our God remains a constant and that is one amazing gift!
