ENCOURAGING THOUGHTS
Summer of Transformation
For artists, handing them a blank piece of paper is like handing them the world! This is because they love using their imagination to transform an empty page into something inspiring!
For an interior designer, an empty room is a blank canvas to create an intentionally warm and inviting place to walk into.
We are inspired by transformation. This is why people love watching shows with makeovers: home makeovers, hair makeovers, closet makeovers, and the list goes on! We love seeing something or someone transform before our eyes!
Why is that? Maybe it's because God has created us with an immense desire to be transformed by Him. The Bible says that God has planted eternity in our hearts (Ecclesiastes 3:11), so it is only natural that we long to be molded by the One who created us.
Yet, even though we want transformation in our lives, it can be hard to motivate ourselves to take the next step.
Transformation may seem like an overwhelming task, but it is actually a partnership between us and God. He does the work within us, and we surrender to Him. It starts with a decision, and is followed by many more small decisions and actions that continue for the rest of our lives.
What would happen if we made room for God to do whatever He wanted in our hearts this summer?
What amazing adventure could we embark on if we surrendered a little more of our hearts each day to the transforming power of God?
Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God's will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. (Romans 12:2 NLT)

ANNOUNCEMENTS
Just a reminder that if you haven't yet brought back your Baby Bottle from the Lethbridge Pregnancy Care Centre's Baby Bottle Campaign, please return it to the church or to the LPCC office (118 8th St S) this week. If you didn't get a chance to fill your baby bottle with change, please still return it so it can be used again next year. Thanks!
What does God want to show you about this next season in your life? Come out this Sunday, June 28th at 10:25 AM! Learn about Biblical Prophetic Ministry and how God can use it to encourage you in your walk with Him!
If you have been thinking about getting water baptized, let us know! We will be having a Water Baptism service as a part of our Church Family BBQ on July 5th at the Rotary Picnic Shelter!
Join us for a great time of fun, food, & fellowship on Sunday, July 5th as we meet together for our Church Family BBQ at the Rotary Picnic Shelter (behind the Northside Walmart). There will also be a special Water Baptism service as well! Please bring a salad or dessert to share! 10:30 AM.
There's still time to register for VBS 2026! Kids ages 5–11 can come July 20th to 23rd, from 1:30–4:40 PM & enjoy games, activities, and learn to share their faith with those around them.
