Connecting Lives, Building Faith, Releasing Destiny
ENCOURAGING THOUGHTS
Building Bridges of Light Bridges. They can be found in big cities, small towns, forests, coastlines, prairies, and the list goes on. They may be made of various materials like steel, logs, and even ropes.
Whether crossing a river, a deep ravine, or even an overpass on a highway, bridges are universal connectors. They provide transportation between places that might otherwise be isolated from each other.
While stopping to think about how bridges aid in connections between places, the Bible reminds us that we can be connectors between God and those who are still isolated from Him.
Matthew 5:16, in the Passion Translation says this:
So don't hide your light! Let it shine brightly before others, so that your commendable works will shine as light upon them, and then they will give their praise to your Father in heaven.
For us as believers, Christ's light in us is our bridge of connection to the broken world! As we let His light shine through us in our words and actions, we are sending out bridge beams of light to those who are searching for Christ's love.
It's like a flashlight beam that shines from one place to another, providing a path of light to follow.
Lord, help us to build bridges of light by shining Your love into the darkness of the world around us, providing a path of connection for others to experience You!
"So don't hide your light! Let it shine brightly before others, so that your commendable works will shine as light upon them, and then they will give their praise to your Father in heaven." Matthew 5:16 TPT
