Walk In Newness Of Life
It's a new year! A brand-new season and endless possibilities ahead.

What does God have in store for 2026? How will He move in us, in our families, and in the world?

As we take time to prepare our hearts for the next chapter of our adventure in Christ, and see how the year unfolds, here are some thoughts to consider:

1. Continue becoming rooted and grounded in the Word of God, so that nothing will pull you away from God's plan. Take every opportunity to develop your relationship with Him, so that when he leads you, you will recognize His voice above all others.

2. Remember to stay humble. We may have everything planned out, but it's the Lord's plans that will succeed. (Prov 16:9)

3. Don't be too attached to the old, comfortable way of doing things. Be open to the new things that God may show you or call you in to. Even small everyday things.

Finally, let's step into 2026 with joy and hope, walking in newness of life in Christ!

We were buried therefore with Him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life.

Join us for our weekly night of corporate prayer at the church. Tuesday evenings at 7:00 PM. We pray for the church family, the city, and anything else God puts on our hearts.

There is still time to join the biblical finance training course, Opening The King's Treasury. Every Monday evening in January at 7:00 PM at the church. Our very own Kent Prestage will be sharing from scripture and from his own experience. For more information, contact the church office at 403 394 7707.

Thrive Leadership Development Training will resume NEXT Friday, January 16th at 7:00 PM. Contact Preston for more information and location. 403 715 4086

Pastor Wayne will be back from holidays this week, and will be bringing a timely message this Sunday!

Join us for our 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting to kick off the new year, and seek the Lord for His plans for 2026! There will be a week of corporate prayer at the church on the following days/times:

Sun, Jan 18th from 6–7 PM

Mon, Jan 19 to Fri, Jan 23rd from 7–8 PM nightly.
