Beauty In The Change Of Season
One of the most beautiful things about the autumn season is the transformation of the deciduous trees.
  
With the onset of shorter days and cooler nights, the leaves turn from their lush green tones into vibrant hues of orange, red, yellow, and purple. The fiery golden tapestry against the horizon is a strong signal of the transition from summer into fall.

Changing seasons can bring excitement and anticipation, and yet, changing seasons in our personal lives can feel anything but inspiring. Change can be uncomfortable and stretching, and we are often not aware of the beauty happening within the transformation. 

Change within and around us is as inevitable as summer changing to fall, but no matter what season of change we are going through, God has promised that we will never be alone in it.

Deuteronomy 31:8 says:

Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord will personally go ahead of you. He will be with you; He will neither fail you nor abandon you.
(Deuteronomy 31:8, NLT).

According to this verse, we can rest assured that not only will the Lord be walking with us through every change and trial, but He will also go ahead of us. He knows what is on the other side of these changes, and He knows the growth we will experience as we walk through them!

And that - like the fall leaves in all their glorious colours - is beautiful.

Just a reminder that Tuesday Prayer is now from 6:00-7:30 PM. Join us tonight for a powerful time of corporate prayer!

The Seniors Breakfast is this Thursday at 9:30 AM at the Nord-Bridge Seniors Centre. Come out for a time of great food and fellowship!

Rooted & Unstoppable Youth is starting up this week on Thursday 7-9 PM! The group will be at Third Day Church for the month of September (550 Wt Hill Blvd S) and then will be at One Life for October. If you are in grades 6-12, come out for some awesome games, small groups, and studying God's word together.

The church office will be closed on Monday, September 22nd.
