Soak Up The Son
As summer starts drawing to a close, we can think back to all the fun summer camping, hiking, and BBQ-ing that filled our summer months!
  
The thought that cooler weather is just around the corner can drive us to plan out a couple more outdoor activities to stretch out our summer enjoyment as long as we can. We want to soak up as much summer as possible!

If only we had that same longing to spend time in God's presence that we do for the summer season! 

What would it look like if we desired to soak in the Lord's presence the same way we soak up the summer sun?

The Lord's invitation to spend time with Him in His presence doesn't change with the seasons the way summer does, but it does remind us that life goes by so much faster than we realize.

John 15:4 says, Dwell in Me, and I will dwell in you.

So, let's take Jesus up on His invitation and spend time with Him this week - soaking in His presence like soaking up the summer sun.

The church office will be closed this coming Monday, September 1st, due to Labour Day.

 
With the upgrades to our stage and media, we are in need of more volunteers! The media team is looking for people to run the cameras, switchboard, and Pro-Presenter. The music team is looking for drummers and keyboard players. If you are interested, please email the office or talk to Jonathan Wagenaar.

We will be hosting Life in the Spirit Conference on Friday, September 5th at 7 PM, and Saturday, September 6th at 9:30 AM. Costs are:

A city-wide youth kick-off event is happening on Friday, September 12th, from 5:30 - 9:00 PM at Legacy Park in Lethbridge! There will be awesome field games, food trucks, prizes, and worship with Behold The King worship band!



One Life Church is planning an amazing Christmas production this year and we want you to be a part of it! If you'd like to sing in the choir, act in the drama, or help with props or other behind the scenes roles, please talk to Pastor Mitchell or Trina. 403 331 8684.
