Summer Bucket List
The term "bucket list" gained popularity in the late 1990s and early 2000s and has been used as a term for when someone makes a list of things that they want to do, see, or experience during their lifetime.

Many people will also create these lists for a more specific season in their lives (i.e, a yearly bucket list or a summer bucket list). 

A bucket list can give us tangible goals on paper that we can work towards achieving! They can be fun and exciting! But what if we could use that same idea and make a list of things we can do to spread God's love to others during our lifetime? 

Instead of making a list of achievements and experiences mainly for ourselves, what if we made a list of ways that we could show and spread God's love? Here are a few ideas below:

1. Stopping to talk to a neighbour.
2. Inviting a family in need over for dinner.
3. Telling someone that Jesus loves them each day.
4. Praying for 3 different people every week.
5. Helping someone with a task that is difficult for them.

In 1 John 4:7a, the Bible commands us:

Let us love one another, because love is from God. (NIV)

God's love is so powerful and can accomplish so much more than what we could ever achieve on our own. As we are the body of Christ, we are the vessels through which His love flows and impacts others! What a beautiful privilege it is to let God's love flow through us and into others!

Every act of love we do and every word of love that we speak can encourage and draw someone's heart closer to God. 

So, let's take time this week to seek the Lord and ask Him to help us create a summer bucket list of ways to show and share His love this summer!

The Canadian Awakening meetings with Tommie Zito have been so good! We had close to 200 in attendance last night. Don't miss out on what God is doing in these meetings!
