A Season Of Fruitfulness
What does the word "fruitful" make you think of? An orchard of fruit trees? The reward of hard work on a business project that finally came together? Having a full life with more than enough?

Seeking to live a fruitful life is part of God's design for us. He desires for us to have life, and have it to the full! (John 10:10, NIV)

While fruitfulness does include many rewards that we can physically see, a big part of what fruitfulness is goes beyond what we can see.

The Bible talks about the fruit that comes from the working of the Holy Spirit inside of us.

Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. The Bible calls these fruit. (Galatians 5:22)

In John 15:5, it says,

Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me, you can do nothing. (NLT)

It's such a beautiful picture that the Lord creates here. He is the life force that causes us to bear fruit. The more we remain connected to Him in our everyday life, the more we will bear fruit in our lives!

Father, help us to find moments throughout this week to remain in you.  And cause our lives to bear much fruit that will bless You and all of those around us! Help us to live connected to you in this season of fruitfulness!

ANNOUNCEMENTS​

There will be a rally to seek the Lord and pray over the upcoming Alberta municipal election on October 20th. The rally will be on Thursday, July 10th at Free Grace Fellowship at 6:30 PM. Doors open at 6:00 PM.

 As we splash into summer, we will be having a Youth Summer Kick-Off this Saturday, July 12th from 7 - 9 PM at Henderson Lake (Kiwanis Picnic Shelter). Bring a water bottle and dress for the weather!
