MINISTRY HIGHLIGHT
We all need each other, and each of us has a special role to fill as the Body of Christ! In light of this, we are using this space to highlight the different ways that we are blessed by those who serve here at OLC!
Today we want to honor Sandra Duncan for heading up the Samaritan's Purse shoebox outreach each and every year here at OLC! Sandra is very passionate about packing shoeboxes and enabling the gospel to be brought to the children who will receive them, and her contagious excitement motivates us all to be a part of it! Thank you Sandra and family for bringing Operation Christmas Child to life for us! Make sure to take home a shoebox from Sandra in the Connect Hub this week! We only have a couple more weeks before they need to be filled and brought back. For more info on what to put in your box, check out this list. Don't forget to pray for the child who will receive your box!
ANNOUNCEMENTS
- Remember, daylight savings time ends on Sunday, so set your clocks back an hour! You get to come to church an hour later than usual!
- Did you start attending One Life Church within the last 6 months? If so, we would love for you to join us after the service on November 19th for our Newcomers Luncheon! We want to get to know you and give you the opportunity to get to know our staff and elders and hear more about who we are as a church! If you would like to come, please sign up in the Connect Hub, or let Lainey know (laineyd@onelifechurch.ca) so we can make sure to have enough food for everyone!
- The Lethbridge Pregnancy Care Centre invites you to an open house this Saturday (November 4th) from 10:00 am-12:00 pm to celebrate their 10th birthday! Stop by to have some refreshments and get a tour of the Centre to see all that they are doing there!
- Do you have an old phone that you are no longer using? If you do, we want it! We have some sound/video upgrades that we would like to implement into our services, and we need a few phones in order to make it happen! If you have an old phone to donate, please talk to Pastor Mitchell!
