Hello OLC Family! We appreciate you!

As always, if you missed our message from last week, you can head over to our website or YouTube page to watch it, or you can listen to it through many of the podcast services available. Our Sunday Livestream is also available through YouTube.

On August 26th & 27th, Kenn & Donna Haase are having a Missions Garage Sale at their house (1321 13th St. S Lethbridge)! All proceeds will be going directly to the Team Leadership College in India. If you would like to help them out with your time, or donate some items to the cause, you can call Kenn at 403-328-3116. Otherwise, feel free to stop by and find some garage sale treasures!

This Sunday, August 28th, is our "Concert of Prayer!" Come to the church at 6:00 pm to join us in unity as we worship and intercede on behalf of our cities, preparing the ground for seeds to be planted through the evangelistic outreach coming up! We're so excited for how the Spirit will move through this night!

"Experiencing God in Prayer" is continuing to happen on Tuesday nights at 7:00 pm! Come for a powerful time of teaching and intercessory prayer led by Jennifer Thomas.

Prayer Walks are going on Wednesdays at 7:00 pm. Led by Les Dueck, join us in saturating the streets of  Lethbridge with prayer as we intercede for the homes that will be receiving the booklets from "Every Home For Christ!" Meet at the church between 7:00 and 7:15 pm!

Some of our other groups are starting up soon! Details coming soon!

Encouraging Thoughts:

Pain on this earth is not a hindrance to what God wants to do. God, in His goodness, uses all of our pain and trials as tools to bring us to new heights of maturity in Him. In our human nature, we look for ways around the pain, or we run away from it, but sometimes all we can do is embrace the pain, and push through it to the other side. At the end of it we see that the Lord has brought us to places we never would have got to on our own. There is victory for you through the pain!
"Consider it all joy, my brothers and sisters, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
James 1:2-4 NASB
