HOW WILL YOU FINISH THE RACE?

"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith..." Don't we all desire to confidently say these words when we reach the end of our lives? It's easy to lose sight of the big picture and make choices that bring only temporary gain, but if we want to run the race of life well, we must be committed to the long-term. Paul knew that the temporary trials of this life are so insignificant in comparison with the glory that is to come, and it is that belief that will enable us to live as he did: pursuing the kingdom of God & storing up treasure that will last forever.
"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that day...'"
2 Timothy 4:7-8
ANNOUNCEMENTS
- Our Engage Youth bottle drive is going on right now! Bring your bottles to the church by March 11th to help our youth raise money for future events! If you prefer, contact Pastor Mitch to arrange a time for bottles to be picked up from your house: 403-331-8684
- We're having a Water Baptism during the service on March 19th! Talk to Pastor Wayne if you are interested in getting baptized!
- There is an elderly lady in need of a suite or room in the Coaldale area to stay in for a couple of weeks (up to 2 months) starting in April. Talk to Pastor Wayne for more information!
