ENCOURAGING THOUGHTS
 
HOW ARE YOU TREATING THOSE CLOSEST TO YOU? 
may you understand (1)
Jesus calls us to follow his example when it comes to how we behave to those around us. 
We are to love each person, encouraging them in their strengths, and graciously & humbly assisting them in their weaknesses. This is especially important inside our families and with those we know very well. It can be easy to take for granted or overlook the strengths of the people we are with everyday, or to become bitter and annoyed by their weaknesses, but it is in those people's lives that we can have the greatest impact for good! God has put you where you are on purpose; use the opportunity to be a blessing!

 
"So, as those who have been chosen of God, holy and beloved, put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience; bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, whoever has a complaint against anyone; just as the Lord forgave you, so must you do also.'" 
Colossians 3:12-13
 
ANNOUNCEMENTS
  • Plan to Protect training is this weekend! Here are the details:
  1. ​If you volunteer at One Life Church, (including leading/hosting a Connect Home Group) it is required that you go through this course! 
  2. On Friday (the 24th) from 7-8:15pm we are having a refresher course! This is for all who have already gone through the FULL COURSE previously!
  3. On Saturday we are going through the FULL TRAINING for those who have never taken this course! It will run from 10 am to around 2pm, and as lunch will be provided PLEASE LET PASTOR MITCH KNOW IF YOU ARE COMING (and haven't signed up in the Connect Hub)! 403-331-8684 or mitchellm@onelifechurch.ca
  • Due to the bad weather, Prayer is canceled tonight, as well as the Thursday evening Men's Connect.
    ​
  • ​There is an elderly lady in need of a suite or room in the Coaldale area to stay in for a couple of weeks (up to 2 months) starting in April. Talk to Pastor Wayne for more information!
